Let’s dive in!
1. Exfoliate Regularly
One of the key factors to achieving smooth skin is to exfoliate regularly. Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, which can build up and make your skin look dull and rough. You can exfoliate in a variety of ways, but using a gentle exfoliating scrub is the easiest and most convenient. However, be sure to choose a product that is suitable for your skin type and follow the instructions carefully. Over-exfoliating can be harmful to your skin, so it’s important to find a balance that works for you.
I’m currently been using the Lavender Scented body scrub from Trader Joe’s, but the Shea Moisture Lavender & Wild Orchid Hand & Body Scrub from Amazon is also a great alternative.
2. Hydrate Your Skin
Keeping your skin well-hydrated is another important step in achieving smooth skin. When your skin is dehydrated, it can appear dry and flaky, which can accentuate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. So, drinking plenty of water is one way to hydrate your skin from the inside out. You can also Look for a moisturizer that is suited to your skin type and apply it regularly, especially after exfoliating or immediately after taking a shower while your body is damp.
3. Dry Brushing
Dry brushing is an excellent way to exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells and promoting healthy cell renewal. This can help to improve the appearance of the skin, leaving it looking smoother and more radiant. This can also have a range of benefits, including reducing the appearance of cellulite, reducing puffiness and swelling, and promoting a more even skin tone.
The dry brush I’ve been using and absolutely loving is from EcoTools on Amazon. The bristles on this brush are not too harsh on your skin, it will not shed, and it’s very easy to store next to your shower.

They are easily absorbed into the skin, providing moisture to keep it soft and supple. For best results, apply body oils immediately when you are done showering while the body is still damp. Body oils can help nourish the skin with essential vitamins and nutrients, making it healthier and more radiant. Using body oil with essential oils can also provide aromatherapy benefits that will help you to relax and calm the mind and body. My absolute favorite has been the Dr. Teals Body & Bath Oil With Lavender from Amazon.
